Before the road is over. Before we loose control. Before the steering wheel comes off and we ask, “What was it we had?” Before you hate me but remain inside a memory we made. Before the engines broken. Before repairs in vain. Perhaps the time has come to steal a car and get away. We should sit down now and plan our great escape…. Let’s get away. Let’s plan our great escape.

All in time everyone in a line. Waiting to sublimate, hoping to float away! Wanting to rest your weary head, we’re down. We will march again at dawn. Waiting, all we can do is wait. Runny eyes are looking at little lives. Waiting to sublimate, hoping to float away. Wanting to rest your weary head, we’re done. We will march again at dawn. Waiting, all we can do is wait. We’re all buried alive. Scrap and claw ‘til we reach the other side. Rest your weary head we’re done. We will march again at dawn. Waiting, all we can do is wait.

Ariel 03:57
Living underground you forget how good the sun can feel …and where would I got now? You’re a million miles away from here. If the city’s got you down, it’s not too hard to disappear. Here ‘s a song that I wrote down. I’m saving it ‘til you get here. Ariel, I’m so glad you’re home. There’s been no one here to talk me down. Floating by all this time like a ghost that’s died a thousand times. I’m so glad you’re home. Ariel! Ariel, now you’re here.

I don’t know the cause. I don’t know what I was thinking when I tried to cross. The traffic and the lights were blinking. It was very dark and everyone I knew kept walking by. I didn’t hear a song. I couldn’t tell what they were saying. It wasn’t very long before the sounds of avenues were playing. It was very dark and everyone I knew kept walking by. So long! So on and so on... So say so long, so long to what was… Not everybody has anything to leave and as I lay there it occurred to me. What am I holding on to if everybody leaves?

Wounded child puts her lipstick on. Asks, ”would you kill for me?” “Take him to the spot in Hollywood and soon we’ll both be free…” She wanted me to comprise it all. It doesn’t seem right. She wanted me to compromise it all. It doesn’t seem right. It feels right. It feels… I was young she was overdue. Taste her ageless orchid skin. He was red with December blood. Kept both my eyes on spring. She wanted me to comprise it all. It doesn’t seem right. She wanted me to compromise it all. It doesn’t seem right. It feels right. It feels… When she smiled I thought I saw a little piece of heaven… and through the night she covered me with moon light but when the morning came I searched for the sun. She had swum away while I lay drowned in blood. She wanted me to comprise it all. It doesn’t seem right. She wanted me to compromise it all. It doesn’t seem right. It feels right. It feels…

Captain 03:03
I wanna throw the lifeboats over. I’m not sure that I can swim. Somebody find the one whose steering. Wake that mutha… We’re sinking! The water’s rising all around us. I’m not sure that we can swim. Whose gonna save us all from drowning? Where’s the captain? We’re sinking! It’s hard to understand how the world just keeps on spinning until it’s spinning out of hand. Soon we’ll all be swimming. There’s no one in command and the captains got the lifeboat but he’s headed back towards land while the ship we’re on will not float and I don’t think anybody’s got a plan. WHAT’S THE CAPTAIN THINKING? I CAN FEEL WE’RE SINKING!

Six Floors 03:39
I was living next door to Lenore. Above first avenue crawl up to the sixth floor. Footsteps never sounded quite that way before… She wasn’t why I came but why I stayed for sure. She was breezy, speaking freely but hard to believe. I was lazy, frozen maybe and easy to please. Standing by the mailbox as if I’d lost my keys… Waiting for a little breeze to come down and find me. I never knew if all her stories were true. She never knew the words to my songs. I never thought a one night stand would last this fucking long!

We woke. No one said a word. In the silence everything was heard. I wrote the things I could not say… the words are in a letter on its way to you today. Goodbye, Sunday. Something’s never change. Words just to explain the past Put these in a place where they can last. I know what people will say… I never cared too much about opinions anyway. Goodbye, Sunday. Something’s never change.

She Said 03:55
“Everyone’s got stories “, she said. “Don’t feel like telling mine.” “I’ve said the same words over and over again. It seems like such a crime.” “Everyone’s got pieces missing”, she said, “ but everybody’s fine.” “If everyone comes apart like I did, we haven’t got much time.” “We haven’t got much time. We haven’t got much time” She doesn’t say too many words these days. I have to read her eyes. I’m looking for the answers lately. So much is a disguise. So says she’s getting older. Maybe? I say, “its only in your mind”. “Its only in your mind. Its only in your mind”. But I would say most anything to make it disappear. I would say most anything that she wants to hear. She says: I’ve been looking into my window like a mirror but not so clear. My reflection is always blurry like a future that’s almost here. I’ve been wondering where my heart is? I’ve been thinking it must be here. I’ve been looking into my window like a mirror but not so clear. Everyone seems to know except for me! “Everyone’s got stories she says. Don’t feel like telling mine.”

Sick Man 04:07
Walk on water when you can. Lift your voice you weary man. Steal the bread from spoiled hands. Understand the curse you bare, understand the curse you bare, understand the curse that you bare… Sick Man. Not Now! Not Lately! (Walk…) Sleepwalker, walk until you wake up wasted…
